1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup yellow corn meal
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup milk

Pour boiling water and butter over corn meal, and mix well. Allow to cool. Add baking powder, salt, well-beaten eggs and milk. Stir well and pour into a well-buttered baking dish. Bake in 350-degree oven for 40 minutes.
Serves 6
