2 Cups Corn Meal
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 onion (grated)
½ cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 egg
Oil for frying

Combine dry ingredients, mix well and make hole in the center. Add egg and milk to make a stiff dough. Shape into balls and drop into fat, fry until golden brown.
